OpenAI now sells ads inside ChatGPT, and Analyzify is ready for it. This release introduces a full OpenAI Ads integration with both pixel and server-side tracking, alongside Reddit server-side conversions, Microsoft Ads click capture, new audience exclusion controls, and sales channel reporting in GA4.
You can now send your store's events to OpenAI Ads through Analyzify, using the OpenAI Pixel in the browser and the Conversions API on the server. Both run from a single integration, and events from the two sources are deduplicated so each action is counted once.
Setup lives under Integrations > OpenAI and asks for two values from your OpenAI Ads account:
OpenAI Pixel ID, which identifies the Web data source your events belong to. You can use an existing pixel or create a new one for Analyzify.
Conversions API key, created under Conversion keys in the Conversion Events tab. This is different from the Advertiser API key used for campaign management, so make sure you copy the right one.
You'll also choose a Content ID so the product identifiers in your events match your OpenAI catalog. Pick from Shopify item ID, SKU, Product ID, or Variant ID.
Once connected, Analyzify tracks the full storefront journey and maps each event to OpenAI's naming:
Page view sends as page_viewed
View Content sends as contents_viewed
Add to Cart sends as items_added
Begin Checkout sends as checkout_started
Purchase sends as order_created
Lead / Sign Up sends as lead_created and registration_completed
View Item List and Search are also captured, and each event can be enabled or disabled individually from the Customize Events panel. Server-side delivery is switched on automatically with the integration; there's no separate server-side setup to complete.
OpenAI does not create conversion events on its own. Analyzify delivers every event correctly, but OpenAI reporting stays empty until a matching conversion event exists in your Ads Manager. To set one up, go to Tools > Conversions > Conversion Events, create a new event, select the same pixel as your data source, and choose the base event (order_created for purchases, for example). Repeat for any other event you want to report or optimize on, then attach the conversion event to your campaigns.
A few things to keep in mind:
Custom events can't yet be used for conversion-optimized campaigns, so stick to the standard events above where one fits.
Once a conversion-optimized campaign is created, its conversion event can't be changed.
If the OpenAI Pixel is already installed elsewhere (theme code, GTM, or another app), remove it to avoid duplicate events. Analyzify sends only to the pixel you configure.
If you don't see the Conversions menu or the Conversion keys option in your OpenAI account, pixel and API key management needs to be enabled by OpenAI. Contact your OpenAI account representative.
ChatGPT is a new ad surface, and like every platform before it, the value of your campaigns depends on the quality of the conversion data flowing back. Running the pixel alone leaves you exposed to the same browser-side losses you've seen elsewhere: ad blockers, consent restrictions, and abandoned page loads all cut into what gets reported. Pairing the pixel with the Conversions API fills those gaps from the server, and deduplication means the two sources add coverage without inflating your numbers.
Getting this right from day one also means OpenAI's optimization has accurate signals to learn from, so your campaigns improve on real purchase data rather than partial counts.
Reddit Ads tracking can now be configured from a single page, with the client-side pixel and the server-side Conversions API set up together. Events arriving from both sources are deduplicated automatically, so you get the resilience of server-side delivery without double-counted conversions.
Analyzify now captures the Microsoft Ads click ID when a visitor arrives from a Microsoft campaign and writes it into the order notes. That means purchases originating from Microsoft Advertising can be traced back to the click that drove them, closing an attribution gap for stores running on Bing and the Microsoft network.
A new option keeps wholesale orders out of your Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo, and Reddit server-side integrations. If your store sells to both retail and B2B customers, this ensures the ROAS reported in those platforms reflects consumer purchases only, rather than being skewed by large wholesale transactions.
GA4 isn't included in this setting because the B2B parameter already lets you filter those orders in your GA4 reports.
Google Ads gets its own exclusion controls. You can exclude B2B orders, returning customers, or both. When a shopper matches an exclusion, they're kept out of Google Ads entirely: no conversion is sent and no remarketing signal is recorded. This is useful if you want Google Ads to optimize purely for new retail customers.
These exclusions apply to Google Ads only. GA4 and your server-side integrations continue to receive the full data.
Your GA4 property now receives the Shopify sales channel as a custom dimension on every event, delivered through the API. You can break down any GA4 report by the channel an order came through, making it possible to compare your online store against POS, marketplaces, and other sales channels within GA4 itself.
