GOT BAG was founded in Mainz, Germany, by Benjamin Mandos. His concern for the environment, particularly the plastic pollution in oceans, led to the creation of the brand in 2016.

The brand is renowned for introducing the world’s first roll-top backpack made from recycled ocean plastic.
